New Waves! BIM | 2024 General Info
TT to BIM! New Waves! 2024 will be held in Barbados. 26 July to 1 August (Emancipation Day). In honor of the late John Michael Goring.
REGISTRATION & FEES
Registration requires a $500 USD non-refundable DEPOSIT for International participants and $250 USD non-refundable DEPOSIT for those living and working in the Caribbean.
The full participation fee is $1500 USD for International participants and $4875 TTD ($750 USD) for CARICOM participants, which includes all programs and events (food is provided), and local transportation.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE/SCHOLARSHIPS
The Institute offers Payment Plans, Scholarships, and Tuition Assistance Grants. Limited partial scholarships are available. Scholarships generally cover 25-50% of the participation fees. Tuition Assistance Grants offer a $250 deduction. New Waves! recommends applying early.

DATES OF ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
Participants should plan to arrive on Friday, 26 July and depart BIM on Friday, 2 August 2022. Visiting artists should fly into Grantley Adams International Airport.
ENTRY / EXIT REQUIREMENTS
Every person entering Barbados must be in possession of a valid passport, a valid return ticket, and an entry visa if required. Learn more at https://barbados.org.

LOCAL TRANSPORTATION
Local travel is provided to all participants via the Institute shuttle service, which is available for transport to and from all Institute programs and events.
